  SDL Trados Studio: Μετατροπή XLIFF σε DOC

  Περιγραφή

  Αυτή η εφαρμογή δίνει στο χρήστη τη δυνατότητα να δημιουργεί αρχεία DOCX ή XLSX (αντίστοιχα των doc και xls αλλά για τις εκδόσεις 2007 και 2010 του Microsoft Office), τα οποία περιέχουν τόσο το αρχικό κείμενο όσο και τη μετάφραση από ένα πλήρως συμπληρωμένο (μεταφρασμένο) αρχείο SDL XLIFF (το δίγλωσσο αρχείο του SDL Trados Studio 2009).
  Ο χρήστης μπορεί να ανοίξει το αρχείο στο MS Word ή Excel και να ελέγξει/τροποποιήσει το έγγραφο και στη συνέχεια να χρησιμοποιήσει το εν λόγω εργαλείο για να εισάγει αυτές τις αλλαγές ξανά στο αρχικό αρχείο SDL XLIFF.

  Χρησιμότητα

  Αυτό το μικρό εργαλείο στην ουσία λύνει τα χέρια σε όσους έχουν αγοράσει το Trados Studio 2009 και θέλουν να το χρησιμοποιήσουν σε ένα περιβάλλον/ομάδα/γραφείο όπου χρησιμοποιείται προηγούμενη έκδοση του Trados. Δηλαδή, ο μεταφραστής μπορεί να πραγματοποιήσει τη μετάφραση στο SDL Trados Studio (γιατί έτσι του αρέσει βρε αδερφέ!), στη συνέχεια να στείλει αυτό το δίγλωσσο αρχείο στον επιμελητή και τέλος να ενσωματώσει τις αλλαγές/διορθώσεις του επιμελητή ξανά στο Studio  αρχείο. Είναι σίγουρα κάτι που έλειπε, καθώς πολύ λίγες εταιρείες και επαγγελματίες του χώρου μπήκαν στον κόπο να αναβαθμιστούν στην τελευταία έκδοση του Trados… Οπότε, από το να έχεις και να κάθεται…

  SDL TTX It – Batch Convert Files to TTX 

  Description
  SDL TTX It! uses the API from SDL Trados 2007 Desktop Tools to convert the selected source files into TTX in the same way as one would do it manually using Translator’s Workbench. SDL TTX It! provides a possibility to set the source language for the files being converted (the selected source language is saved in the .config file when the tool is closed and will be automatically set next time it is opened). The tool can also invoke INI Settings-Manager as well as the Filter-Manager so that the settings and filter options can be changed before the conversion. The tool creates a log of all the actions performed. The log is shown in the UI and can be saved to a text file (as well as cleared). The resulting TTX file is always saved in the same folder as the source file (next-to-source). In case a folder has been selected (or drag-dropped) all the file from the folder and subfolders will be considered as source files for conversion (recursion).

  Prerequisites
  - SDL Studio 2009 with a valid Freelance license or above (Starter Edition is not supported)

  - SDL Trados 2007 – no license required, only the tools need to be installed

  Installation
  SDL TTX It! is delivered as a set of binaries in a zip archive, there is no installation utility. This is because the installation is not necessary, the tool can be used straight after unpacking.
  To “install” the tool please do the following:
  - Copy the delivered .zip file locally to your machine
  - Create a folder where you would like to “install” the tool i.e. the folder where SDL TTX It! will be residing e.g. “C:\Program Files\SDL\SDL TTX It\”
  - Extract the contents of the zip archive in the just created folder (see previous step)
  - To run the tool just double-click on the TeeTeeXit.exe
